Partnership

Partnership Matters

Seven Hills needs partnerships of all kinds not only to meet the current needs of the City but to continue to grow in a cost effective manner. Seeking and securing partnerships with various governments and stakeholders is an essential part of the Mayor's job. Council President Biasiotta’s track record in this regard speaks for itself, making him a real asset to the city.

Tony has aggressively sought partnerships to provide cost effective solutions to increase value to our residents without raising taxes. These efforts include:
  • Securing road repaving cost-sharing with Parma, Independence, Broadview Heights and Cuyahoga County saving our City $1,500,000.
  • Sharing the services of an Animal Control Officer (ACO) with Independence.
  • Participation in the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) Community Cost share program for the purchase of 30 new catch basins and a new street sweeper saving Seven Hills Taxpayers almost $300,000.
  • Signing Council of Government (COG) with Brecksville, Broadview Heights and Independence to lay the ground work for sharing the cost of new a dispatch center and more collaboration in the future.
